
2. Now, click the "Edit" menu and click on "Preferences..." as displayed below. Proced to the next step.

3. Next, click on the "New Account" button.

4. Now, make sure that your window appears exactly as displayed below and click "Next".

5. You should now be at a window titled "Account Wizard". In the "Your Name" field type whatever you'd like people to see on the email they receive from you. In the "Email Address" area type your email address in all lower-case letters with no spaces or additional punctuation. When your window resembles the one displayed below click "Next".

6. Configure the next window that appears to look exactly like the window displayed below. Then click "Next".

7. Next, enter your username in the "User Name" field. Please do so with all lower-case letters and no spaces or additional characters. Click "Next".

8. The next window that appears will already have the proper settings entered. Simply click "Next".

9. Now click "Finish".

10. Next, back in the "Account Settings" window, click the "Outgoing (SMTP) Server" category listing over to the left. Proceed to step #11.

11. Finally, type "smtp.yourdomain.net" in the "Server Name" field. When your window looks exactly like the one displayed below click "OK". You've completed the email setup process for Netscape 6. To save your settings, close the Netscape program and restart your computer.
